Macará came from a goal down to thrash Aucas 4-1 in Serie A. After Santiago Morales put Aucas ahead in the 21st minute, Macará responded with four unanswered goals to turn the match on its head.
Agustin Campana levelled in the 34th minute with an assist from Franco Posse. Just after the break, Posse scored himself to put Macará ahead in the 50th minute. Campana added his second in the 65th, again set up by Posse, and Posse rounded off the scoring from a John Jiménez pass in the 77th minute. There were also bookings for José Klinger, Jose Cazares and Snayder Porozo.
Franco Posse was the standout—scoring twice and providing two assists. Despite Aucas having 59% possession and more passes (387 to 248), Macará were far more clinical, registering eight shots on target to Aucas's four and creating four big chances, all converted.
