Huracán left San Lorenzo with a 2-0 Superliga win, thanks to two goals from Jordy Caicedo. Caicedo struck in the 45th minute and again in the 57th, and Huracán held on despite Orlando Gil’s 62nd-minute sending-off.
Caicedo put Huracán ahead just before half-time, then doubled the lead with Facundo Kalinger’s help after the break. Gil was shown a second yellow card five minutes after that, but San Lorenzo could not turn their numerical advantage into a goal.
Huracán were the more threatening side, registering 14 shots to San Lorenzo’s eight and creating three big chances to two. San Lorenzo dominated the ball with 54% possession but managed only two shots on target; Huracán needed five on target to score twice.
