Independiente del Valle edged out Orense SC 3-2 in a lively Serie A contest. The visitors struck first through Darwin Guagua but were pegged back, only to rattle off two quick goals and hold on after a late Orense reply.
Guagua opened the scoring from Juan Viacava’s assist on 27 minutes. Andrés Parrales equalised for Orense in the 53rd minute, but Independiente responded swiftly – Hugo Quintana scored on 60, followed by Matías Perello three minutes later. Sergio Vasquez pulled one back for the home side immediately, in the 64th minute, but no further goals followed.
Despite having 58% possession and 18 total shots (five on target), Orense could only find the net twice. Independiente, with 42% ball and 11 shots (six on target), made their two big chances count. Both keepers made three saves, but the visitors’ sharper finishing earned the points.
