VPS returned from Pietarsaari with a 3-1 win over FF Jaro, powered by Simon Lindholm's early double. The visitors took control inside the opening quarter of an hour and never trailed.
Lindholm opened the scoring in the 12th minute from Lassana Mané's pass, then added a second four minutes later, Jayden Turfkruier providing the assist. Jaro responded through Oliver Kass Kawo in the 34th minute, Herman Sjögrell setting him up to make it 1-2, but VPS restored their two-goal cushion when Yassin Daoussi scored unassisted in the 71st minute.
Lindholm's brace proved the difference, giving VPS a platform they protected after Jaro's equaliser threat. Four yellow cards, shown to Antti-Ville Räisänen, Emmanuel Okereke, Oluwaseyi Ogunniyi and Fabian Östigard Ness, kept the contest scrappy, yet VPS always had enough in front of goal.
