Inter Turku claimed a 1-0 win at VPS in the Veikkausliiga, with Eeli Kiiskilä's first-half goal deciding the contest. The home side were unable to reply after falling behind inside the opening 20 minutes.
Kiiskilä put Inter Turku ahead in the 17th minute, and the score stayed 0-1 through to the interval. Four yellow cards were shown across the match, to Paulo Lima, Julius Tauriainen, Iiro Järvinen and Luka Kuittinen, but there were no further goals.
Kiiskilä's 17th-minute strike was the match's only goal and proved enough. VPS had more than 70 minutes after that to get back on level terms, but Inter Turku held on.
