Sholing FC are through in the FA Cup first qualifying round after a 2-0 win over Andover New Street FC. Vinnie Tume's first-half goal gave them the lead, and a second goal late in the second half made sure of the result.
Tume broke the deadlock in the 31st minute to make it 1-0. Sholing doubled their advantage in the 79th minute, with the second goal not credited to any player. Andover New Street were unable to get back into the tie.
The late second goal put the game beyond Andover's reach and confirmed Sholing's progress. Tume was the only named goalscorer, and Sholing kept a clean sheet to complete a comfortable afternoon.
