NK Osijek made light work of NK Slaven Belupo, winning 3-0 in the 1. HNL. Two goals from Jona Ježić and one from Nail Omerović settled it, with Osijek in control from the tenth minute.
Ježić opened the scoring after 10 minutes, and Omerović doubled the lead in the 37th, Marcel Heister providing the assist. Ježić struck again early in the second half, in the 51st minute, to put the game well beyond Slaven Belupo. Adetunji Rasaq Adeshina was booked late on for the visitors.
Osijek dominated the numbers, holding 66% possession and firing 18 shots to Slaven Belupo's nine, with six on target. Their expected goals of 1.43 reflected a comfortable afternoon, though Slaven Belupo did create two big chances without taking either.
