Cruzeiro beat Mirassol 3-1 in the Brasileiro Série A. João Marcelo put them ahead early, Reinaldo levelled for the visitors, and two late goals from Kaio Jorge and Wesley sealed the win.
João Marcelo scored on 12 minutes, but Mirassol were level on 27 when Reinaldo struck. The game stayed 1-1 until the 76th minute, when Kaio Jorge finished from Fagner's pass, and Wesley added a third with six minutes left.
Despite the scoreline, Mirassol had the better of the underlying numbers — they edged expected goals 1.27 to 0.82 and had four shots on target to Cruzeiro's three. But Cruzeiro scored two of their two big chances while Mirassol missed one, and the home goalkeeper made three saves.
