JIPPO Joensuu beat KäPa 3-1 in Ykkönen, with the result settled by a quick double after the home side had equalised. The visitors led from the 50th minute but were pegged back, only to pull clear again in the space of three minutes.
Jyri Kiuru put JIPPO ahead five minutes into the second half, with Lauri Sahimaa providing the assist. Daniel Ripatti drew KäPa level in the 75th minute, but Terrence Smith restored the lead two minutes later and added a third in the 80th to make it 1-3. Two late yellow cards followed, one shown to Antonio Almen in the 83rd minute and another in the 86th.
Terrence Smith was the decisive figure, his brace turning a 1-1 scoreline into a comfortable two-goal margin. JIPPO's response to conceding was quick and clinical, taking full advantage of their chances to leave with the points.
