FC Haka beat JIPPO Joensuu 3-0 in Ykkönen, with the game effectively decided by three goals in the opening half hour. Oliver Whyte scored twice, either side of a Thomas Lahdensuo goal, to leave JIPPO facing a steep climb.
Whyte put Haka ahead in the 7th minute. Lahdensuo made it 2-0 in the 24th, assisted by Valentin Purosalo, and Whyte struck again in the 30th to complete the scoring. JIPPO's Niklas Haataja was booked in the 26th minute, and Roni Pietsalo received a late yellow card.
Whyte's brace before the break was the standout contribution. There is no shot or possession data to add, but the 3-0 scoreline sums up the match: Haka's early burst was enough to take the points. JIPPO never found a reply.
