Jagiellonia Białystok won 2-1 away to Saburtalo Tbilisi in the Europa League playoff round. Jesús Imaz put the visitors ahead, Zviad Natchkebia equalised, and Anders Klynge delivered the winner in the 70th minute.
Imaz struck first in the 31st minute to give Jagiellonia the lead. Saburtalo responded four minutes later through Natchkebia, but Klynge’s goal in the 70th minute restored the advantage and sealed the win for the Polish side.
Saburtalo dominated possession with 64% and had six corners to Jagiellonia’s four, yet the visitors were more efficient in attack. Jagiellonia recorded 13 shots to Saburtalo’s 11, and five on target to four, to come away with the result.
