Ilves came from a goal down to beat Differdange FC 03 3-1 in their UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie. The home side turned the match around in the second half with three quickfire goals, despite having a man sent off and the game spilling into a flurry of red cards.
Differdange took the lead just before the break when Sebastien Thill scored from Elison Rivas' assist in the 45th minute. Ilves equalised in the 57th minute through Yiandro Raap, who volleyed home Jardell Kanga's cross. Kanga then put Ilves ahead in the 68th minute, and Roope Riski made it 3-1 in the 75th minute after another Kanga pass.
The match was marked by a chaotic spell of cards. Yiandro Raap was sent off for Ilves in the 68th minute, and within a minute Gustavo Vintecinco and Juan Bedouret also received red cards, while Bruno Reis was booked. Jardell Kanga was the standout player, scoring once and setting up two goals for the hosts.
