Mushuc Runa won 3-0 away to Técnico Universitario in Serie A. Renato Ibarra scored twice inside the opening 45 minutes and set up the third late on. Técnico Universitario were reduced to ten men when Santiago Razzeto was sent off in the 22nd minute.
Ibarra opened the scoring in the 7th minute from Kevin Peralta's assist, then doubled the lead in the 45th. Cristopher Angulo completed the win in the 85th minute after Ibarra turned provider. Razzeto's red card left the hosts chasing the game for more than an hour.
Mushuc Runa controlled possession with 60% and had six shots on target to Técnico Universitario's four, converting two big chances. Ibarra was the decisive figure with two goals and an assist. Técnico Universitario had 11 shots but were kept out by a Mushuc Runa goalkeeper who made four saves.
