James Murage put Viimsi ahead in the ninth minute, and that advantage stood until Artjom Dmitrijev equalised for FC Tallinn in the 68th. The winner came deep into stoppage time through Artjom Toropov, whose goal sealed all three points. Earlier, Leonid Arhipov was shown a red card in the 32nd minute, leaving Viimsi to play most of the match with ten men.
The result was built on FC Tallinn's patience after falling behind, while Viimsi's early promise faded after the sending-off. Toropov's late strike proved the difference in a tight contest.
