FC Lahti took all three points at VPS with a 1-0 win in the Veikkausliiga. The visitors made an early breakthrough and held on through a tight contest that produced few clear chances.
Aaron Lindholm scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute, finishing after Martim Ferreira's assist to make it 0-1. VPS pushed for an equaliser but could not find a way past the FC Lahti defence.
The game grew scrappy late on, with Armend Kabashi booked in the 84th minute and Aaron Lindholm shown a yellow card five minutes later. Lindholm was the decisive figure, scoring the winner and then being cautioned in the closing stages.
