FC København rallied from a 2-1 deficit to beat Lyngby 3-2 in an entertaining Superliga clash. Birger Meling’s brace and a second-half winner from Mohamed Elyounoussi turned the game around after Lyngby had taken the lead before the break.
Meling opened the scoring in the 27th minute, but Lyngby hit back quickly through Renzo Tytens in the 36th and Simon Colyn three minutes later to lead 2-1 at half-time. Meling equalised four minutes after the restart, and Elyounoussi tapped in Mads Emil Madsen’s assist in the 75th minute to complete the comeback.
Despite the win, Lyngby created more chances — 21 shots to Copenhagen’s 12 and an expected-goals tally of 2.44 to 1.47 — but the hosts made the most of their opportunities. Meling twice found the net and helped his side claim all three points despite being outshot.
