FC København thrashed Odense BK 5-0 in the Superliga, taking full control with goals in the fifth and 24th minutes. They added three more after the break to turn a comfortable lead into a rout.
Thapelo Maseko opened the scoring on five minutes and Asger Sørensen doubled the advantage before the half-hour. Maseko struck again on 76 minutes, Marvin Nasnas made it four on 82 and Maher Carrizo completed the scoring in the 89th minute.
Thapelo Maseko's double led the way, while the visitors punished Odense's 62% possession by scoring five goals from ten shots. Odense managed 12 shots and an expected-goals total of 1.56, but the FC København goalkeeper made five saves to keep a clean sheet.
