Dalian Zhixing FC secured a 1-0 away win over Chongqing Tonglianglong FC in the CFA Super League. Lü Zhuoyi's 63rd-minute goal was the difference in a tight contest.
The match was goalless until Lü Zhuoyi converted from Isnik Alimi's assist to give Dalian the lead. Chongqing had 56% possession but could not turn their territorial advantage into a goal, and Dalian held on for the three points.
Dalian actually had more total shots, 12 to 10, despite seeing less of the ball and completing fewer passes. Both sides managed only two shots on target, and Dalian's goalkeeper made two saves to Chongqing's one as the visitors took the win.
