Chicago Fire FC II came from behind to beat Inter Miami CF II 3-1 in MLS Next Pro. After conceding to Ezequiel Abadia-Reda in the 27th minute, Chicago responded with three goals between the 48th and 59th minutes to take the points.
Inter Miami took the lead when Ezequiel Abadia-Reda finished a move started by Mateo Saja. Dylan Borso levelled three minutes into the second half, Brody Williams put Chicago ahead in the 53rd minute, and Dean Boltz added a third from Ateba Leonel's assist in the 59th. The quick sequence after the interval turned the match.
Chicago dominated the underlying numbers: they had 52% possession, 15 shots to eight, and an expected-goals tally of 2.78 against 0.56. They put seven shots on target and scored from all three of their big chances, while Inter Miami had just two shots on target and one big chance. Inter Miami's goalkeeper made four saves, but Chicago's control was clear.
