CF Marialvas beat Fornos de Algodres 4-0 in the Taça de Portugal first round. The away side led 2-0 by the 45th minute and added two more goals in the second half to seal a comfortable win.
By the 45th minute Marialvas were two goals to the good. They extended their lead after the break, and a goal in the 90th minute completed the 0-4 scoreline.
The four-goal margin and the clean sheet were the standout features of the afternoon. Fornos de Algodres were left with too much to do once Marialvas had control before half-time.
