Aucas secured a 3-0 victory over Club Leones Del Norte in Serie A, with Alexander Bolaños scoring twice and Ayrton Preciado once. The home side were clinical, converting all three of their big chances while their opponents failed to find the net.
Preciado opened the scoring in the 24th minute before Bolaños doubled the lead on 31, with Preciado providing the assist. Bolaños added his second and Aucas' third early in the second half to put the game to bed.
Leones del Norte actually had more of the ball (51%) and more shots (10 to seven), but Aucas' goalkeeper made five saves to keep the clean sheet. The visitors missed their one big chance, and the home side took all of theirs.
