Albirex Niigata beat Iwaki FC 3-2 in J.League 2 after coming from behind twice. Iwaki led at 1-0 and 2-1, but Albirex kept responding and took control with two goals in three second-half minutes.
Yutaka Michiwaki gave Iwaki the lead in the eighth minute, and Yamato Wakatsuki replied for Albirex in the 14th. Yuriya Takahashi restored the home side's lead in the 54th minute, but Kanji Kuwayama equalised on 61 and Matheus Moraes made it 2-3 two minutes later.
The turning point was Albirex's quick double just after the hour, with Moraes scoring the winner moments after Kuwayama's leveller. There were five bookings, all yellow, spread through the game.
