Al-Hilal beat Al-Ahli 3-0 in the Saudi Professional League. Two goals inside the opening 23 minutes put them in command, and they added a third late on. Al-Ahli's task became harder when Merih Demiral was sent off in the 45th minute after a second yellow card.
Sergej Milinković-Savić opened the scoring in the ninth minute from Sultan Mandash's assist. Crysencio Summerville doubled the lead in the 23rd minute, with Rúben Neves providing the pass. Ollie Watkins completed the scoring in the 86th minute, again assisted by Sultan Mandash.
Al-Ahli actually had more total shots than Al-Hilal, 13 to 12, but only two of theirs were on target. Al-Hilal put six of their shots on target and converted three, with an expected goals figure of 1.99 to 1.27. The sending-off of Demiral disrupted any chance Al-Ahli had of a comeback.
