OFI Crete won the Super Cup on penalties after a 2-2 draw with AEK Athens. The match swung both ways before Zini's 90th-minute equaliser for AEK sent the final to a shootout, which OFI edged 4-5.
Luka Jović put AEK ahead in the 38th minute. Athanasios Androutsos levelled for OFI on 69 minutes and Konstantinos Kostoulas made it 1-2 on 76, before Zini forced the decider with his late strike. Bookings went to Răzvan Marin, Giannis Apostolakis and Petros Mantalos.
Kostoulas's goal seemed to have turned the final in OFI's favour, but Zini's equaliser meant the title was decided from the spot. OFI held their nerve in the shootout and took the trophy after a match neither side could win in normal time.
