Adamstown Rosebud and Cooks Hill United shared the points in a 2-2 draw in the NPL Northern New South Wales. The home side led at half-time, but Cooks Hill struck twice in 10 second-half minutes before Adamstown rescued a point late on.
Adamstown went in front on 35 minutes, and that is how it stayed until Cooks Hill levelled on 63. Cooks Hill then turned the game around with a second goal on 73, only for Adamstown to equalise four minutes later, making it 2-2 with a frenetic closing spell in which four bookings were shown.
Cooks Hill had the better of the shooting statistics, with 17 attempts to Adamstown's nine and eight corners to three, yet they could not hold on. The two sides each mustered six and seven shots on target respectively, which reflects how even the afternoon ultimately became.
