Zhejiang snatched a dramatic 3-2 victory over Qingdao Hainiu with a stoppage-time winner from Qianglong Tao. The home side had looked in control after two first-half goals, but a spirited Qingdao fightback levelled the scores before the late twist.
Alexandru Mitriță opened the scoring in the 24th minute, set up by Wang Yudong, and Marko Tolić doubled the lead from Mitriță's assist just after the break. Qingdao pulled one back through Nemanja Anđelković in the 58th minute, and Malcom Edjouma equalised in the 71st. With the game heading for a draw, Qianglong Tao struck in the 90th minute, assisted by Wang Chang, to seal all three points.
Despite Qingdao Hainiu having more total shots (19 to 16) and more corners (6-4), Zhejiang created the better chances—five big chances to their opponents' two—and scored three of them. The home side's 52% possession and six shots on target reflected a slightly more clinical edge, though they needed the late heroics of Tao to prevail.
