Ypiranga beat Floresta 4-1 in the Brasileiro Série C, with the result effectively settled by a devastating first-half spell. A three-goal lead by the 39th minute put the home side in charge before Floresta's late consolation.
Alex Gonçalves opened the scoring on 20 minutes, and Pedro Lucas struck twice in six minutes, making it 2-0 on 33 and 3-0 on 39. Nicolas Schulz added a fourth on 62, and Mateus de Lima Pereira scored Floresta's reply on 70.
Pedro Lucas was the standout performer, scoring two of Ypiranga's four goals inside the opening 40 minutes. Ypiranga built a four-goal lead between the 20th and 62nd minutes, and although Floresta grabbed a late goal, the home side were always comfortable.
