Young Boys and FC Luzern shared six goals, ending 3-3 in a Super League thriller after the home side struck late to earn their point. Samuel Essende twice gave Young Boys the lead, yet Luzern twice responded and pushed ahead before Mamadou Kaly Sene's 88th-minute equaliser.
Essende opened the scoring in the 14th minute, but Andrejs Cigaņiks turned the game around with two goals in three minutes early in the second half, making it 2-1 in the 49th. Essende's second drew Young Boys level in the 52nd minute, only for Matteo Di Giusto to restore Luzern's advantage in the 65th. Sene then levelled for a second time with a late strike.
Young Boys had the lion's share of possession and chances, with 54% of the ball and 25 shots to Luzern's 17, yet needed a late goal to take anything from the game. Luzern's goalkeeper made seven saves, while Cigaņiks and Essende each finished with a brace.
