York City beat Bristol Rovers 3-2 in League Two, coming from behind and then regaining the lead after Bristol Rovers had pegged them back. Harry Boyes scored twice, including the decisive goal in the 80th minute.
Clinton Mola gave Bristol Rovers a 30th-minute lead. Alex Newby levelled for York City in the 60th minute and Harry Boyes put them in front three minutes later, only for Tommy Leigh to make it 2-2 in the 78th minute. Boyes scored his second two minutes later, with Alex Newby providing the assist, to seal the win.
York City dominated possession, ending with 72% of the ball and 479 accurate passes to Bristol Rovers' 143, and had 15 shots to 12. Bristol Rovers still caused problems, putting three attempts on target and scoring two of them, so the margin of victory was narrower than the possession figures suggest.
