Wisła Kraków took the local bragging rights with a 2-0 win over Wieczysta Kraków, settling the match with two second-half goals. They had to work for it, with Wieczysta holding more of the ball and firing in more shots, but Wisła's finishing proved decisive.
The deadlock was broken on 54 minutes when Jordi Sánchez scored from Julius Ertlthaler's assist to make it 1-0. Jérémy Guillemenot doubled the lead on 80 minutes, converting Rafał Mikulec's assist, and Wieczysta could not find a way back. Marko Božić and Kacper Duda were both booked early on, but the yellow cards had little bearing on the match.
Wieczysta had more of the ball, 60%, and more shots, 15 to 11, yet Wisła's seven shots on target against Wieczysta's four told the real story. Jordi Sánchez and Jérémy Guillemenot proved the difference, scoring the goals that earned Wisła all three points.
