Widzew Łódź and Motor Lublin shared the points in a lively 2-2 draw at Stadion Widzewa. The game swung back and forth, with Sebastian Bergier scoring for both sides – an own goal after opening the scoring for Motor Lublin.
Bergier put Motor Lublin ahead in the 13th minute, but Mariusz Fornalczyk equalised for Widzew seven minutes later, assisted by Ángel Baena. Bergier then turned the ball into his own net in the 28th minute to put Widzew in front. Motor Lublin levelled just after the break through Mbaye Ndiaye, set up by Ivo Rodrigues.
Widzew had the better of the statistics – 53% possession, 18 total shots and an expected goals figure of 2.41 – but they were undone by a costly own goal and their failure to take their chances. Motor Lublin, with only 11 shots but 5 on target, showed greater efficiency and earned a point they might not have expected on the balance of play.
