Westchester SC beat FC Naples 3-2 in USL League One, scoring three times between the 29th and 37th minutes and then holding on after FC Naples mounted a comeback. Conor McGlynn, Jonathan Jimenez and Piero Elias supplied the early goals.
McGlynn opened the scoring on 29 minutes with Timofey Timchenko providing the assist, and Jimenez doubled the lead six minutes later from Kyle Evans' pass. Elias made it 3-0 on 37 minutes, assisted by Dean Guezen. Andrés Ferrín pulled one back for FC Naples on 48 minutes, and Nicolas Likulia’s 78th-minute strike, set up by Marc Torrellas, cut the deficit to one, but Westchester saw out the remaining time.
Westchester were the more clinical side, putting eight of their 17 shots on target and converting both of their two big chances. FC Naples had 51% possession and 13 shots, but only four were on target, and their goalkeeper made five saves to keep the scoreline close. Westchester committed 17 fouls to FC Naples' 14.
