Jahn Regensburg took all three points with a convincing 5-2 away win at Viktoria Köln in the 3. Liga. Lucas Hermes struck twice before half-time to give Regensburg control, and they never looked back.
Hermes opened the scoring on 28 minutes from Patrick Hobsch's assist and added the second ten minutes later. Niklas Castelle pulled one back for Köln on 53 minutes, but Adrian Fein restored the two-goal lead within five minutes and then added a fifth after David Philipp had made it 1-4.
Fein finished with two goals of his own, while Hermes also left with a brace from the opening period. Noah Le Bret Maboulou's late consolation for Viktoria did little to change the shape of the game.
