Manisa FK beat Van Spor Futbol Kulübü 4-1 in the TFF 1. Lig, racing into a three-goal lead inside the opening half-hour. Cheikne Sylla scored after a minute and Julien Anziani and Jonathan Lindseth added further goals to settle the contest early.
Sylla opened the scoring in the first minute, with Yassine Benrahou providing the assist. Anziani doubled the lead on 20 minutes, and Lindseth made it 3-0 five minutes later from Sylla’s assist. Anziani scored his second of the match in the 51st minute, and although Ozan Kökçü pulled one back for Van in the 69th minute, the result was never in doubt.
Manisa’s edge showed in the statistics: they had 54% possession, seven shots on target to Van’s three, and created four big chances to one. Van’s afternoon got worse when Kökçü, who had scored their consolation, was sent off in the 82nd minute.
