FC Dinamo București ran out convincing 5-1 winners over CS Universitatea Craiova, a result built on a ruthless attacking display and a first-half red card for the visitors. Despite having less possession (47% to 53%), Dinamo created far more chances, registering 18 total shots and 5 big chances to Craiova's 9 and 1 respectively.
Dinamo took control early with Alberto Soro scoring in the 8th minute from Alexandru Pop's assist. Alexandru Marian doubled the lead on 29 minutes. Craiova pulled one back five minutes into the second half through Steven Nsimba, but Dinamo responded quickly: Alexandru Pop made it 3-1 on 59 minutes after a second assist from Danny Armstrong. Cătălin Cîrjan added a fourth in the 76th minute, and Martín Pascual completed the scoring in the 90th, converting a pass from Soro.
The turning point came just before halftime when Craiova's Juraj Badelj was sent off, leaving his side a man down. Dinamo's efficiency in front of goal told the story – they scored 5 from 7 shots on target, while Craiova managed just 5 shots on target and scored once. Danny Armstrong's two assists and Alberto Soro's goal and assist were key contributions.
