Platense and Unión shared the points in a 2-2 draw that saw the lead change hands twice. Platense struck first through Tomás Fagioli in the 24th minute, but Unión turned the match around with two quick goals after the 70th minute, only for Platense to salvage a point with an 87th-minute equaliser.
Tomás Fagioli put Platense ahead midway through the first half. Unión responded in the 72nd minute when Juan Pablo Luduena levelled, then Cristian Tarragona put them in front seven minutes later. Platense pushed hard and Bautista Merlini made it 2-2 in the 87th minute, denying Unión a second consecutive win.
Unión created the better chances — they had two big chances to Platense's none and registered a higher expected-goals figure of 1.30 against Platense's 0.65 — yet Platense, who had 57% possession and 12 shots, found a late equaliser to earn a share of the spoils.
