Tianjin Jinmen Tiger beat Zhejiang 2-1 in the CFA Super League, taking the points despite seeing far less of the ball. Bruno Xadas gave them a sixth-minute lead and Ji Shengpan's 72nd-minute strike proved decisive after Zhejiang had levelled just before half-time.
Xadas put Tianjin ahead inside six minutes. Zhejiang responded on the stroke of half-time, Alexandru Mitriță converting from Lucas Possignolo's assist to make it 1-1. The home side regained the lead when Ji Shengpan scored from Xadas's pass on 72 minutes and the score remained 2-1.
Zhejiang dominated territory with 70% possession and 19 total shots to Tianjin's 12, yet Tianjin created three big chances to their one and scored two of them. Bruno Xadas stood out with a goal and an assist, while the Tianjin goalkeeper made five saves.
