Hansa Rostock and SV Waldhof Mannheim shared six goals in a 3-3 draw in the 3. Liga. Hansa recovered twice, first from two goals down and then from 3-1 behind, with Florian-Horst Carstens's 76th-minute equaliser securing the point.
Waldhof took control early, Julian Ulbricht opening the scoring in the 7th minute and Julian Rieckmann doubling the lead in the 29th. Andreas Voglsammer pulled one back just before half-time, but Lovis Bierschenk restored the two-goal cushion on 50 minutes. Bernie Lennemann replied for Hansa five minutes later, and Carstens completed the comeback in the 76th minute.
The match was a scrappy affair, with eight yellow cards shown across both teams. Hansa's ability to come from behind twice was the defining feature, leaving both sides with a point in an open and even contest.
