St. Cloud State took this one 3-0 at Minnesota State, and the entire margin arrived in the third period. Two scoreless periods gave way to a three-goal final 20 minutes, decided in regulation.
The first period ended 0-0, and so did the second, leaving the game knotted through 40 minutes with neither side converting. The break came in the third, where the Huskies scored all three of their goals to move from 0-0 to the 0-3 final.
The number that matters is three: three goals in one period, and a shutout for the visitors across the full 60 minutes. Minnesota State never got on the board, and the third period was the only frame that produced anything at all.
