MSV Duisburg overturned a two-goal deficit to beat SC Verl 4-2 in the 3. Liga. Tim Heike and André Leipold had Verl 2-0 up, but Duisburg struck four times in 11 second-half minutes to take all three points.
Heike put Verl ahead in the eighth minute with an assist from Almin Mesanovic, and Leipold doubled the lead in the 46th minute. Verl lost Paul Lehmann to a second yellow card in the 48th minute, and Duisburg then took over. Florian Krüger scored in the 61st and 63rd minutes, Lex-Tyger Lobinger made it 3-2 in the 69th, and Patrick Sussek sealed the win in the 72nd.
Florian Krüger was the key figure, scoring twice to wipe out Verl's advantage, while Patrick Sussek contributed a goal and an assist. Duisburg's four goals came in an 11-minute burst, and Verl had no answer after their two-goal start.
