Sarpsborg 08 and Vålerenga IF shared the points in a 2-2 Eliteserien draw after the hosts let a two-goal lead slip in the final ten minutes. Claus Niyukuri put Sarpsborg ahead in the 28th minute and Sondre Sörli made it 2-0 on 80 minutes, but Vålerenga hit back twice late to level.
Niyukuri opened the scoring from Victor Emanuel Halvorsen's assist, and Sörli added the second unassisted. Petter Strand pulled one back for Vålerenga in the 83rd minute, Ole Christian Saeter providing the assist, before Gabriel Rajkovic equalised in the 90th minute from Aaron Kiil Olsen's pass.
Vålerenga dominated possession with 59% and completed 515 passes to Sarpsborg's 339, yet Sarpsborg carried the greater attacking threat with 19 total shots, eight on target and an expected-goals figure of 2.04 against Vålerenga's 1.22. Even so, Vålerenga's late double ensured the points were shared.
