Anderlecht beat Kairat Almaty 3-0 in the UEFA Europa League playoff round. Mihajlo Cvetkovic put them ahead in first-half stoppage time, and second-half goals from Danylo Sikan and Giulian Biancone sealed a comfortable victory.
The first half was stop-start, with three yellow cards before Cvetkovic's opener in the 45th minute. Sikan doubled the lead in the 53rd, and Biancone completed the scoring in the 71st.
The home side dominated the key stats, holding 59% possession and managing eight shots on target to Kairat's three. They also took seven corners to three, and the visitors failed to register a single shot off target.
