Spartak Moscow came from behind to beat Rodina Moscow 3-1 in the Russian Cup. Ivan Timoshenko gave the visitors an early lead, but Spartak were level before half-time and moved clear after the break.
Timoshenko scored on 31 minutes to make it 0-1. Roman Zobnin equalised five minutes later, assisted by Mirlind Daku, and Pablo Solari turned the game around on 65 minutes, slotting home after Manfred Ugalde's assist. Solari added a third on 78 minutes, with Danil Prutsev providing the pass.
Solari was the decisive figure, scoring twice after the interval to give Spartak control. The contest was also punctuated by seven yellow cards, spread across both sides.
