Red Bull Salzburg made light work of WSG Tirol with a 3-0 win in the Bundesliga. Two goals inside the opening 17 minutes put them in command, and they never looked back. Salzburg controlled the game with 61% possession and 22 shots.
Karim Konaté opened the scoring in the 15th minute, finishing from Frans Krätzig's assist. Krätzig then doubled the lead two minutes later, with Yorbe Vertessen the provider. Sota Kitano added the third in the 70th minute, converting Abubakr Barry's pass to seal the away win.
Salzburg were the more clinical side, scoring three from their 12 shots on target while creating six big chances. WSG Tirol had 14 shots and five big chances of their own but scored none, and their goalkeeper made nine saves to keep the score down.
