Rapid Wien beat SK Sturm Graz 3-1 in the Bundesliga, taking control with a fast start that saw the lead change hands twice inside the opening 17 minutes. They never trailed after Marco Tilio's goal restored their advantage, and a late third sealed the win.
Yusuf Demir put Rapid ahead after seven minutes, but Belmin Beganovic equalised for Sturm Graz on ten minutes. Tilio struck again on 17, and Petter Nosakhare Dahl added the decisive third in the 86th minute, with Demir providing the assist.
Sturm Graz had more shots, 19 against Rapid's 16, but Rapid created the clearer chances: four big chances to none and an expected-goals total of 2.01 to 0.72. Rapid also dominated possession with 56 per cent and completed more passes, while Sturm's Albert Vallci was sent off in the 90th minute.
