SK Rapid Wien ran out emphatic 8-0 winners over Grazer AK 1902 in the Bundesliga. The home side had the game effectively wrapped up inside 14 minutes, scoring three times, and led 5-0 by the interval. Tonni Adamsen finished with four goals and Ercan Kara added two.
Ercan Kara opened the scoring after five minutes and made it 2-0 in the 12th; Tonni Adamsen scored the third two minutes later. Nenad Cvetković added the fourth in the 42nd minute and Adamsen struck again in the 45th to make it 5-0. After the break Yusuf Demir scored the sixth, before Adamsen completed his four-goal haul with goals in the 74th and 86th minutes.
The statistics underlined Rapid's dominance: they had 72% possession, 27 shots to nine, 17 on target and an expected-goals figure of 5.49 against 0.76. Grazer AK managed only two shots on target and one corner. Rapid's goalkeeper made two saves while Grazer's goalkeeper was called into action eight times.
