Queens Park Rangers came from behind to beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 at Ewood Park. Ryoya Morishita put Blackburn ahead in the 49th minute, but Paul Smyth levelled two minutes later and Jimmy Dunne struck in the 74th minute to give the visitors the points.
Blackburn enjoyed 54% possession, yet QPR carried the greater attacking threat all afternoon. Morishita's goal, assisted by Andri Guðjohnsen, sparked an immediate response as Smyth converted Rumarn Burrell's pass, and Dunne finished from Tariq Lamptey's assist to turn the game around. The contest was punctuated by five bookings, including Jake Clarke-Salter and Ronnie Edwards before the break.
The numbers show QPR were the more dangerous side, with 17 shots to Blackburn's 12 and six on target to two. Their expected goals of 1.14 narrowly shaded Blackburn's 1.02, and while Blackburn's goalkeeper made four saves, QPR needed just one, scoring their big chance when it mattered.
