Marumo Gallants and Polokwane City shared four goals in a competitive 2-2 draw. Polokwane twice took the lead, through Tidimalo Molokwane and Bonginkosi Dlamini, but Marumo twice responded to keep the contest level.
Molokwane struck in the third minute to give Polokwane the perfect start. Msindisi Ndlovu equalised for Marumo in the 17th minute from Moremi Seketso's assist, and Dlamini restored Polokwane's lead on 25 minutes after Juan Mutudza set him up. Lebohang Petrus Nkaki made it 2-2 in the 44th minute, and the second half passed without a deciding goal.
Marumo dominated the ball, finishing with 65% possession, 14 shots and 333 accurate passes, but they could only convert two of their chances. Polokwane were far less active, registering six shots and 129 accurate passes, yet they still scored twice and took their one big chance.
