Sullivan opened the scoring with Nathan Harriel providing the assist, and the visitors led until Hines-Ike headed in from Joseph Rosales' delivery in the 21st minute. The game settled into a tight contest, with bookings for Jesus Bueno, Neil Pierre and Ervin Torres keeping the tempo physical.
Austin were the more dominant side statistically, enjoying 55% possession and firing 12 shots to Philadelphia's 8, with 6 on target. Yet they had to settle for a draw, with the Union's goalkeeper making five saves to deny them a winner.
