FC Okzhetpes left it late to take all three points, scoring twice in the final quarter of an hour to beat Atyrau 2-0. The game was goalless until Dmitri Borodin broke the deadlock in the 77th minute.
Borodin finished from Vladimir Vomenko's assist to make it 0-1, and Oralkhan Omirtayev doubled the lead in the 88th minute, again set up by Vomenko. Atyrau pushed for a response but the away side held firm, with late bookings for Yan Trufanov, Rabiu Riliwan Oyndamola and Konstantin Dorofeev.
